I like this, the battery is external to the power supply, so in theory as long as utility power is stable, you should be able to service/replace the battery with no downtime.

PC power supplies with UPS built in. Makes a lot of sense, although power supplies aren’t exactly safe to open and self-service, so I’m guessing the batteries aren’t self-serviceable. Unless the power supply is hot-swappable, that’s kind of a drag.
