Julio, we'll have to see--if I eat there too often, I could end up going broke. :-)

Steve: yes, I could definitely see myself going broke eating at Masa Sushi regularly. Don't say I didn't warn you. :-)

Damn it. I made reservations for Cafe Panache in Ramsey this weekend for my up-coming birthday and you have to tell me about a really good Japanese restaurant in Allendale?

You mentioned this place could also ruin my perception of all other "good" sushi places, and I'm not sure I want to risk that. I love sushi. When I say that, I could easily sign a contract obligating me to only eat sushi for the rest of my life (if I could afford it).

Despite my love for sushi, I'm definitely not a connoisseur. I'm at a point where I can eat mediocre sushi and be very very happy. So I'm at a dilemma here. I know if i try it once, I'll be able to go back to eating mediocre sushi because it takes more than one experience for you to really get hooked on something. However, I can't just go to a really great sushi place once and not go back. It will be on those subsequent visits when I will spoiled my palette and will never be able to eat mediocre sushi. Mediocre sushi will become supermarket sushi and I won't be excited by decent sushi anymore.

Now that you let the cat out of the bag, the process has already started. I haven't even been there, but I'm already dreaming about my trip there. Nice ambiance. The delicate fragrance of ginger mixed with an extremely mild smell of fresh fish, the comforting feeling of perfectly sticky and slightly warm sushi rice. The reassuring presence of Japanese people. Damn you!

In my younger days, I would probably be there everyday for lunch fully entrusting the itamae.
